Research interests

Adrien Rusch investigates the relationships between land use, biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. He is particularly interested in how changes in land use and farming practices at different spatio-temporal scales affect communities and the service they provide to society with a focus on natural pest control services and other regulatory services. In this context, he examines food-web ecology and community ecology of natural enemies and other service-providing communities in different farming systems and landscape contexts. The aim of his research is to produce knowledge to support the design of innovative crop protection strategies and multifunctional landscapes optimizing the flow and the stability of ecosystem services.
