Problématiques de recherches : Impact de carences en K sur la croissance et le développement des plantes cultivées (maïs, cotonnier) – Influence de la nutrition en K sur la capacité des plantes à atténuer les effets du stress hydrique (maïs, eucalyptus, canne à sucre) – Rénovation des règles de raisonnement de la fertilisation phospho-potassique.

Domaines d'expertises scientifiques : Cycles biogéochimiques des minéraux majeurs (P, K) – Méthodes d'estimation de la biodisponibilité des minéraux majeurs – Nutrition minérale des plantes cultivées – Rôles écophysiologiques du potassium – Ecophysiologie du stress hydrique chez les végétaux
